The Ant and the Grasshopper

In a field one summer’s day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart’s content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.
“Why not come and chat with me,” said the Grasshopper, “instead of toiling and moiling in that way?” “I am helping to lay up food for the winter,” said the Ant, “and recommend you to do the same." “Why bother about winter?” said the Grasshopper; “we have got plenty of food at present.” But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil. When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food, and found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing every day corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer. Then the Grasshopper knew:

“IT IS BEST TO PREPARE FOR THE DAYS OF NECESSITY.”

Wednesday, March 18 is our R.S.S. Cruise B-day Party! Come have a wonderful night and celebrate with us! Boarding will begin at 6:15pm followed by dinner starting at 6:30 pm. Come get to know our Relief Society and Young Women sisters.

*A Nursery will be provided for those that need to bring their young children*

New Book of the Month

The Book we will be reading this month is called "The Marvelous Journey Home" By: John Simmons. The author will be coming down mid April to do a presentation! It should be fun and exciting to meet the author! We will let you know more about it as it gets closer. So far the best place to find it is on Amazon.com For more information contact Krista Garner.

In the Kitchen with....

This week (Thursday) was our first "In the Kitchen with"..... Natalie Anderson.

Natalie gave us this Awesome recipe for homemade wheat bread and showed us how to make it! It is a great recipe because I think even those of us who aren't PRO's at making homemade bread can do it with this recipe! It only takes about 1 hour from start to finish! Yeah! It is super yummy too!
